The Poweshiek County Conservation Board seeks a qualified individual with the necessary experience to serve as its Park Technician. This position will be responsible for park and equipment maintenance at Diamond Lake, a 660-acre park and campground. This position will also be responsible for enforcing park rules, which may require some irregular night and weekend hours. Additional responsibilities will include implementing management plans on outlying wildlife management areas.
Two years’ experience in the natural resource management field or equivalent. Individuals with graduation from an accredited college or law enforcement will have preference.
$45,000- $ 49,000 per year with health benefits and IPERS.
