Job summary

Muskingum Watershed Conservancy District at Seneca Lake Park is seeking a Park Technician to perform maintenance, groundskeeping, and basic construction tasks. You will supervise seasonal attendants and full-time technicians, coordinating daily work and ensuring safety standards.

Responsibilities include routine repairs, inspections, equipment maintenance, carpentry, painting, and grounds work. Requires a high school diploma or GED and 2+ years of related experience; valid Ohio driver’s license;

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 2+ years related experience.
• Valid Ohio driver’s license; insurable by MWCD fleet.
• Proficiency with electrical, HVAC, plumbing maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Assign and schedule daily tasks for seasonal attendants and Park Technicians.
• Perform facility inspections and basic repairs (HVAC, lighting, plumbing).
• Carry out basic carpentry, painting, and general construction tasks.
• Maintain grounds, perform tree work, and apply fertilizers/seed as needed.
• Maintain service records and respond to maintenance requests.
