Job summary

Six Flags Corp is seeking a Security Manager to oversee the Security and Investigations department within the Public Safety Division in Santa Clarita, CA. The role leads incident response, risk assessments, budgeting, and daily operations to protect guests, employees and assets.

Responsibilities include managing security personnel, coordinating emergency drills, maintaining CCTV and access control systems, and ensuring compliance with Cal-OSHA, BSIS, and applicable laws.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license in good standing.
• BSIS Guard Card (or obtain within 45 days).
• 3+ years of supervisory security experience in a theme park or similar setting.
• Ability to respond to incidents and maintain confidentiality.
• Open availability for nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Respond to calls for service and provide management direction.
• Conduct risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and threats.
• Manage personnel including hiring, training, scheduling and evaluations.
• Develop and coordinate emergency response plans and drills.
• Maintain security systems (CCTV, access control, alarms).
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, licensing, company standards and policies.
• Generate accurate reports and required reporting.
• Collaborate with Public Safety and other departments.
• Serve as Division Duty Manager and Park Duty Manager as assigned.
