Job summary

The State of Michigan's Parks and Recreation Division seeks a Park and Recreation Ranger to support daily operations of Division facilities. You will assist the Unit Supervisor/Lead Ranger with administrative tasks and perform varied maintenance tasks under supervision.

Responsibilities include training staff, maintaining grounds, infrastructure and equipment, and promoting public safety. A DNR Law Enforcement Commission is required, with related academy trainings.

Qualifications

• Educational level typically acquired through completion of high school.
• Experience requirements vary by Ranger level: Ranger 6, Ranger 7, Ranger E8.
