Qualifications

• Strong written and oral communication skills with diverse audiences.
• Experience delivering education or interpreting natural resources.
• Ability to supervise, organize, and direct a program in a park setting.
• Customer service experience in public or outdoor environments.
• Willingness to participate in POST training and obtain certification.

Responsibilities

• Participates in POST training to achieve certification and may be commissioned as a Colorado Peace Officer.
• Assist in park management, enforcement duties, and public outreach within CPW.
• Communicate park regulations, safety practices, and environmental education to the public.
• Support field operations, data collection, and interpretation activities.
• Remain flexible to assignments at different State Parks for required periods.
