ARIZONA STATE PARKS AND TRAILS manages and conserves Arizona’s natural, cultural, and recreational resources for the benefit of the public and partners. The agency oversees 30 State Parks and Natural Areas, including programs like the State Trails Program, Grants Program, State Historic Preservation Office, and Off-Highway Vehicle Program. Must complete a minimum of 8 weeks and up to 6 months of a SkillBridge internship. Must be separating from the Military with at least 180 days of active duty service.
Job Location: Various statewide park locations including Lake Havasu, Parker, Sedona, Payson, Flagstaff, Cornville, Camp Verde, Benson, Safford, Apache Junction, and Tucson.
Posting Details: This is a DOD SkillBridge internship opportunity, lasting up to 6 months depending on the Service Member's availability.
Under general supervision, performs skilled work in the operation and maintenance of parks, interprets natural or historic features, and enforces safety and park rules.
