Provides basic information to visitors and tourists, while maintaining a visible presence to support safety and cleanliness. Patrols park areas on foot, bicycle, or by vehicle to observe conditions, identify potential hazards, and help deter vandalism or misconduct. Work involves documenting findings and preparing daily reports on park attendance, incidents, accidents, injuries, and needed repairs. Work is primarily outdoors and requires frequent walking and patrolling in various weather conditions, including exposure to heat, rain, and insects. Employees work rotating shifts with varied days off to ensure coverage across all parks. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Signature Parks and Events Program Manager and the Parks Operations Supervisor.Minimum Qualifications:High School Diploma/G.E.D. Certificate and two (2) years' experience in public contact work, preferably involving security required, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
