Job summary

The U.S. Department of the Interior seeks a Park Ranger (Interpreter) to oversee interpretive programming and visitor experiences within the National Park Service.

Qualifications

  • Superior Academic Achievement (SAA): bachelor's degree in a directly related field and either class standing, GPA criteria, or membership in an honor society.
  • GPA requirements: 3.0+ on 4.0 scale or 3.5+ depending on option.
  • If substituting education for experience, submit official transcripts and supporting documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee interpretive and education team operations and programming, including visitor center operations.
  • Serve as first-line work lead to staff and volunteers; develop and present interpretive programs for diverse audiences.
  • Collaborate with partners to deliver and evaluate educational programs and social media content.
