Job summary

Qualifications

  • Minimum Qualification: One year of specialized experience or a 4-year degree with related coursework in natural resources, natural sciences, or related fields.
  • Experience in park or recreation management, visitor services, or related duties is considered for credit.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and presents a variety of interpretive programs to general public and school audiences.
  • Prepares on- and off-site environmental education programs and materials.
  • Assists with recruitment and training of volunteers for a visitor services program.
  • Supports management of wildlife-dependent recreation opportunities in line with Refuge Improvement Act.
