The Riverside County Regional Park and Open-Space District is seeking a Park Ranger I/II – Parks, based out of Idyllwild Regional Park, supporting operations at surrounding mountain parks.
Work locations include Idyllwild Regional Park, Hurley Creek Park, and McCall Memorial Equestrian Campground. The work schedule follows a 5/40 pattern with flexibility required for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Uniforms are provided. The position level (Ranger I or II) depends on experience and qualifications, with opportunities for advancement.
Knowledge of natural resources conservation, park management, and law enforcement principles is essential. The ability to enforce laws, train staff, maintain records, and communicate effectively is also required.
