Job Duties
This skilled position involves statewide road construction, maintenance, and improvements on state forests and other public lands. Responsibilities include operating heavy equipment for constructing and maintaining roads, culverts, bridges, erosion control, and fire lines; coordinating transportation of equipment and materials; performing routine maintenance and minor repairs; assisting with maintenance of recreation areas; and providing visitor information.
