Arizona State Parks and Trails protects and preserves 30 State Parks and Natural Areas. The agency also includes the State Trails Program, outdoor-related Grants Program, the State Historic Preservation Office, the Off-Highway Vehicle Program, and more. It provides over 1,400 camping and RV sites throughout the parks and manages 8 of the top 25 most visited natural attractions in Arizona.

Job Summary: Under general supervision, performs a variety of tasks and is responsible for recommending improvement and repair projects, including planning and maintaining park facilities and grounds in a timely manner.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs):
Selective Preferences: Two years of experience as a Park Ranger Specialist or three years in customer service, library, or museum work; or a relevant degree. Equivalent training and experience may be substituted.
Pre-Employment Requirements: Valid Arizona driver’s license, possible certifications (EMT, Electrician, Wastewater), successful completion of E-Verify. Driving is essential.
