Job summary

Herschend Family Entertainment seeks a Director of Operations (Aquatics & Theme) to lead Noah’s Ark’s park operations, including aquatics, park services, and safety programs. You will manage budgets, coach staff, and ensure regulatory compliance while driving guest satisfaction and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, or similar; equivalent combination considered.
• 5–7 years of progressive facility management in a senior role, preferably in high-volume attractions.
• 2+ years of Aquatics experience in amusement/waterpark settings; CPO/AFO certification within 1 year when required.
• Lifeguard instructor certification from Ellis & Associates within 90 days; English fluency required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee park operations including Aquatics, Park Services, Grounds, and Night Security.
• Lead by example, mentor hosts, and manage budgets/labor and materials.
• Ensure safety, hygiene, and regulatory compliance; implement SOPs and safety meetings.
• Coordinate with maintenance for water quality and lifeguard program compliance.
• Participate in budgeting, scheduling, and long-term planning for park operations.
