Carter Caves State Resort Park, part of the Tourism, Arts, & Heritage Cabinet in Kentucky, is seeking a Mechanical Maint & Operations Technician I for a full-time role in Olive Hill. The position oversees HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, and other mechanical systems across the park, with responsibilities including emergency maintenance and coordination with contractors.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in the maintenance or repair of HVAC, refrigeration, ventilation, or electrical systems.
• Formal training in one of the above fields may substitute experience on a year-for-year basis.

Responsibilities

• Maintain heating and air-conditioning systems, refrigeration and ventilation equipment.
• Maintain electrical, plumbing and other park systems.
• Assist contractors and monitor equipment performance.
• Complete repair and inspection records and respond to emergencies.
