In this role, you will perform semi-skilled work maintenance and construction work alone, while assisting a skilled trades worker, or as lead worker for a small crew of manual workers performing routine tasks. Work involves the use of a variety of construction, grounds keeping, and maintenance equipment and tools to maintain the park’s pool complex, restrooms, grounds, and other facilities. Minor repairs and routine grounds keeping and custodial duties are performed with considerable independence while more advanced construction or repair work is performed under the direction of a skilled trades worker or supervisor. Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • This is a seasonal, full-time position with no healthcare benefits. There is not an option to buy into health care benefits. The season runs from approximately March 2025 until November 2025 at which time the employee will be placed on leave without pay. The employee will automatically be returned to employment March 2026.
  • Shifts/days vary. This position will work 5 days/37.5 hours per week to include holidays and weekends.
  • Telework:You will not have the option to telework in this position.
  • Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • One year of experience in laboring work including the use of tools and equipment used in maintenance or construction; or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training.
