Job summary

Worlds of Fun in Kansas City is seeking a landscaper to help maintain the park's grounds and landscaping, including mowing, trimming, planting and watering. You will support garden and floral displays and help care for natural areas around the park.

Must be 18+ and comfortable with physical outdoor work; this seasonal role runs up to 6 months for Winter/Spring, with opportunities to learn and grow within Six Flags entertainment properties.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Enjoy outdoor work and physical activity.
• Able to work as part of a diverse team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain park grounds and landscaping (mowing, trimming, planting, watering).
• Assist in maintenance of gardens and floral displays and upkeep of natural areas.
• Perform related duties as assigned.

Job description

A landscaper at Worlds of Fun would be responsible for maintaining the park's grounds and landscaping, including mowing, trimming, planting, and watering. They would also assist in the maintenance of the park's gardens and floral displays, as well as the upkeep of the park's natural areas. Other duties may include

• Overseeing the care of flowers, shrubs, trees, and turf which involves fertilizing, watering, pruning, mowing, planting, and pest control.
• Planting flowers and planting foliage's , trees, and bushes.
• Prunning, trimming, and brush removal.
• Waters plants, trees, and bushes daily .
• Weed s and debud s flower beds.
• Applies mulch to plant beds.
• Performs various clean-up work in all work and storage areas.
• Operates power equipment such as blowers, mowers , trimmers, clippers.
• Physical labor is required
• Other duties as assigned.

*This position is a seasonal position for our Winter/Spring seasons (position will not exceed 6 months of employment)*
