This is a seasonal/short-term assignment. The position is open until filled and may close without notice.

The employment schedule runs from March 31st through September 26th, with work hours Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform grounds maintenance including irrigation system installation, maintenance, and repair.
• Vehicle maintenance, litter and trash control, pest control services, signage, and maintenance of park amenities.
• Landscaping activities such as trimming, planting, mulching.
• Hauling heavy items and overseeing volunteers.
• Support at special events, including setup and cleanup activities.

Qualifications:

• Ability to read and understand instructions and operate machines.
• Experience preferred but not required; level of knowledge is equivalent to less than high school or GED.
• Basic skills in operating ground maintenance equipment and tools.
• Valid Class "C" driver's license with a good driving record.

Additional Requirements:

• Work involves outdoor physical labor, including lifting up to 100 lbs.
• May require evening or weekend hours and "stand by" duty outside normal hours.
• Exposure to outdoor elements, noise, dust, chemicals, and mechanical hazards.
