Responsibilities

• Develop and present formal and informal interpretive experiences for diverse audiences.
• Conduct research and present interpretive programs on academic and educational themes.
• Perform curatorial tasks including exhibit / collection maintenance and inventory.
• Assist in cultural history projects such as oral histories and management plans.
• Identify historic sites and coordinate preservation and maintenance needs.
• Develop accessible interpretive media and nonpersonal services for park experiences.
• Review park policies and procedures; ensure compliance and consistency.
• Engage with local communities through on-site and off-site programming.
• Coordinate and manage the park volunteer program, including recruitment and scheduling.
• Communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds and perspectives.
