Job summary

Oklahoma Department of Tourism and Recreation seeks a Groundskeeper for Beavers Bend State Park Golf Course. The role involves maintaining lawns, gardens and recreation spaces, operating and maintaining lawn equipment, planting and pruning, and keeping areas clean and safe.

Employment is full-time with a starting wage of $15.00 per hour. After a one-year trial, pay may increase to $15.45 per hour. Requires 18+, valid license, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Able to perform tasks involving bending, stooping, squatting, walking and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License.
• Demonstrates attention to detail and ability to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Cuts grass, weeds, trees and brush.
• Operates lawn mowers, weed eaters, blowers and trimmers.
• Plants flowers, shrubs and trees; maintains landscaping with mulch, pruning or deadheading.
• Removes trash, debris and snow from common areas; checks outdoor recreation equipment for safety.
• Other duties as assigned.
