Job summary

SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment is hiring a General Services Technician to perform a variety of maintenance tasks across the park. Responsibilities include plumbing, electrical work, safety inspections, and equipment repair to ensure guest safety and park operations.

The role requires strong English communication, a valid driver's license, and the ability to obtain required certifications within 1 year. This is a full-time on-site position in San Diego with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain AIMS/NAARSO Level1 within 1 year.
• Ability to obtain CPO/AFO certification within 1 year.
• Valid California driver’s license or state residency license.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Perform facilities maintenance including plumbing, painting, concrete work, fire systems, playground safety inspections, and bleacher maintenance.
• Inspect and green tag water attractions for water quality and filtration maintenance.
• Maintain, troubleshoot and repair electrical wiring and controls; monitor devices and automated equipment.
• Represent SeaWorld Parks and Entertainment with a positive attitude and energy.
• Perform carpentry, plumbing, culinary equipment repair, and slide maintenance.
• Use tools such as multimeter, drills, saws, and other devices.
• Conduct daily inspections of slides and water attractions; manage safety records.
