The Living Desert in Palm Desert, CA is hiring a Custodian to perform general cleaning of facilities, open/close the park, and support daily operations. You will dust, vacuum, mop, and assist with event setups, ensuring a clean, safe environment for visitors and staff.

Applicants should have custodial experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid CA Driver's License; physical tasks may include lifting up to 50 lbs. Holiday/evening work may be required.

Qualifications

• Custodial experience required.
• High School or equivalent.
• Must have a valid CA Driver's License.
• Energetic, dependable and motivated.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsabilités

• Perform general cleaning of the facilities as determined by the Custodial Services Manager.
• Open and close the park.
• Daily cleaning including hosing walkways, cleaning exhibits, trash and floors.
• Set up tables, chairs, tents, stages for events and activities.
• Maintain safe and productive workplace for visitors and staff.
• Follow COVID-19 disinfecting standards throughout the park.
• Provide assistance to other departments as needed.
• Represent the institution professionally and work with co-workers.
