Guest Services, Inc. in Oregon is seeking a Cook for Silver Falls South Falls Cafe to assist the kitchen leadership team with preparing, cooking, and serving meals.

You will keep a clean, orderly station, follow recipes and safety procedures, and help with stock and waste management to ensure quality, safety, and efficiency. The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, culinary knowledge, and Food Safety certification, plus strong customer service and communication skills to support coworkers

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/G.E.D. equivalent required.
• Culinary knowledge.
• Food Safety certified and strong sanitation habits.
• Strong customer service abilities; able to assist customers and coworkers.
• Ability to recognize problems and communicate them to management.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and cook food items according to recipes, daily menus, supervisor instructions, and company policies.
• Clean and inspect kitchen equipment, appliances, and work areas to ensure cleanliness and functional operation.
• Operate food station, including station checklist, temperature log, and safe food handling procedures.
• Inform kitchen leadership of food supplies, equipment, and needs based on future estimates.
• Monitor menu items and follow cost-control policies to ensure economical meals.
• Assist in rotating and stocking items, receiving and unloading deliveries.
• Wash dishes, utensils, trays, and cooking supplies using proper sanitation procedures.
• Pull trash from receptacles and replace bags; maintain clean floors and work areas.
