DynaServ in Pembroke Pines, FL, is seeking a Park Attendant and Park Attendant Night Supervisor to ensure park cleanliness, safety, and ongoing grounds maintenance for visitors.

The roles require outdoor work, operating groundskeeping equipment, and teamwork, with shifts: 2:00 PM–11:00 PM and 6:00 AM–2:00 PM for Park Attendant; 2:00 PM–11:00 PM Thu–Mon for Night Supervisor; a high school diploma is preferred and a valid driver’s license is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in grounds maintenance preferred but not required.
• Physical fitness for demanding outdoor tasks.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather.
• Basic knowledge of groundskeeping equipment and maintenance.
• Capable of operating small riding machinery such as mowers.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Valid driver’s license with safe driving record preferred.

Responsibilities

• Regularly clean and maintain park grounds; remove debris.
• Operate groundskeeping equipment (mowers, weed eaters, leaf blowers).
• Trim and maintain trees, shrubs, and vegetation in the park.
• Prepare clay baseball fields and other sports fields for games/events.
• Mark and line sports fields per specifications; maintain facilities.
• Weed eat along fence lines to keep areas neat.
• Paint and maintain field lines and markings as needed.
• Report safety hazards and ensure facilities are secure after hours.
• Lift and carry objects up to 50 lbs as required; drive maintenance vehicles.

The Park Attendant is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and overall maintenance of park facilities and grounds. This position involves a variety of outdoor maintenance tasks to create a welcoming and safe environment for park visitors.

Work Schedule – Park Attendants

• 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM, Wednesday through Monday
• 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM, Wednesday through Monday

Work Schedule – Park Attendant Night Supervisor

• 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM, Thursday through Monday

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in grounds maintenance or a related field preferred, but not required
• Physical fitness and ability to perform physically demanding tasks
• Strong work ethic and willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Basic knowledge of groundskeeping equipment and maintenance techniques
• Capable of operating small riding machinery, including mowers, field draggers, and similar equipment
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record preferred

Key Responsibilities

Grounds Maintenance

• Regularly clean and maintain park grounds by removing litter, fallen leaves, and debris
• Operate and maintain groundskeeping equipment, including lawnmowers, weed eaters, and leaf blowers
• Trim and maintain trees, shrubs, and other vegetation within the park

Sports Field Maintenance

• Manicure and prepare clay baseball fields and other sports fields for games and events
• Mark and line sports fields according to established specifications
• Ensure sports equipment and facilities are maintained in good condition

Fence Line Maintenance

• Perform routine weed eating and trimming along fence lines to maintain a neat and tidy appearance

Painting

• Paint and maintain sports field lines and markings as needed

Safety and Security

• Report any safety hazards, damage, or vandalism within the park to the supervisor
• Ensure park facilities are secure after hours

Heavy Lifting

• Lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs as required for maintenance tasks

Driving

• Operate park maintenance vehicles and equipment safely and responsibly
• Maintain a safe driving record
