Job summary

Saint Colette Catholic Church in Brunswick, OH is seeking a part-time Building and Grounds Team Member to maintain and support campus facilities on a 22-acre site. The role covers setup/takedown for parish events, basic cleaning, and equipment maintenance, with an 8-hour shift on Mondays and Fridays and flexibility for an additional weekday or weekend day.

Qualifications

Safe use of hand power tools.
Able to lift 50 pounds and move heavy loads.
Indoors and outdoors year-round work.
Ethical, good communicator, and self-starter.
Able to collaborate with Parish Staff, ministries and volunteers.
Valid Ohio Driver’s license.
Insurable by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Cleveland.

Responsibilities

Oversee setup and takedown for Parish functions and transport of items around campus.
Maintain, service, clean, and store equipment.
Perform basic janitorial duties such as cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, trash.
Safely operate landscaping and snow removal power equipment.
Other related assignments to support the parish and its ministries.
