Job summary

St. Joseph Parish in Seattle, WA is seeking a full-time Facilities Maintenance Technician to keep church, school, gym and parish offices safe and functional. You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnose issues, and support multiple campus sites including St.

Joseph and St. Therese. The role requires HVAC, boiler, plumbing, electrical and carpentry skills, plus a valid driver's license and ability to travel between campuses.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial facilities maintenance.
• Knowledge of HVAC, boilers, carpentry, plumbing, electrical.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel between campuses.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and equipment testing on buildings and grounds.
• Diagnose repair needs; perform minor plumbing, electrical, and heating repairs.
• Manage carpentry tasks like doors, locks, drywall and painting.
• Monitor HVAC systems across campuses for climate control and energy efficiency.
• Inspect safety equipment monthly and maintain exterior grounds.
• Respond to work orders and manage maintenance inventory.
