Job summary

Our Mother of Sorrows Parish in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to support the parish and school under the Facilities Manager. This full-time role focuses on general facility and grounds maintenance, light repairs, and keeping equipment and spaces clean and safe in a Catholic environment.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, 2 years of maintenance experience, and a working knowledge of tools for plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting and landscaping.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of maintenance or similar experience.
• Experience in at least one of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, mechanical, painting or drywall.

Responsibilities

• Perform general facility and grounds maintenance for church, school, and campus buildings.
• Carry out light repairs in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, mechanical and landscaping trades as directed.
• Maintain equipment and supplies; ensure safety and cleanliness.
