Job summary

The Facility Manager at Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church oversees the maintenance, renovation, operation, and security of parish facilities, including rectories and school properties. You will lead life safety, alarm, energy management, and event scheduling systems in partnership with the Pastor and Business Manager.

Responsibilities include directing projects, obtaining bids, supervising staff and volunteers, coordinating budgets, and ensuring regulatory compliance and safety standards

Qualifications

• Directs maintenance, renovations, operation, and security of parish facilities, grounds, and rectories.
• Manages life safety, alarm, energy management, and event scheduling systems.
• Procures bids, contracts, and supervises staff, contractors, and volunteers.
• Coordinates budgets with business manager and principal; monitors expenses.

Responsibilities

• Directs and oversees all projects for maintaining and improving the facility including with established committees with actions that affect the buildings, facilities, or grounds of the school and excludes the day-to-day activities of a committee.
• Ensure the integrity and operation of the mechanical and cosmetic aspects of the school properties are intact and always properly functioning.
• Plans, coordinates, and maintains all electrical, mechanical, plumbing, audio visual, lighting and security and HVAC systems with ongoing preventative maintenance programs and upgrades.
• Ensure all maintenance activities meet regulatory, safety, and health standards including but not limited to lighting, fire and safety equipment.
