Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent. Relevant experience in similar position preferred.
• Working knowledge of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing.
• Knowledge of safe handling and disposal of hazardous materials per OSHA.
• Ability to diagnose minor issues and perform basic repairs.
• Must be self-motivated, punctual, and able to work with vendors as needed.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine maintenance and minor preventive maintenance for parish facilities.
• Provides custodial and janitorial services including cleaning and floor care.
• Cleans, maintains, and services equipment and building systems.
• Sets up and breaks down furniture and equipment for parish events.
• Identifies safety hazards and reports maintenance concerns.
• Works evenings and weekends as needed.
