Job summary

The Archdiocese of Chicago invites an Evangelization Coordinator to assist the pastor in advancing parish mission and evangelization efforts. You will develop, implement, evaluate, and refine outreach programs and may oversee ministry staff to ensure alignment with strategic goals.

Responsibilities include recruiting and training personnel, building formation teams and coordinating outreach through social media, publications, and events, while supporting volunteers and fostering a welcoming

Qualifications

• Principles of evangelization and Catholic teachings required.
• Experience directing staff and volunteers essential.
• Strong collaboration and communication with pastor and ministry teams.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Pastor on discernment and implementation of parish vision.
• Lead recruitment, training and assessment of staff and volunteers.
• Build and support formation teams (Rescue Project, Chosen, Bible or Catechism series).
• Direct special projects as requested by Pastor.
• Spread the gospel via social media, bulletins, and other channels.
• Train and schedule greeters for Sunday Mass as first contact with parishioners.
