Job summary

Davis is hiring an AI Research Engineer intern to push the state-of-the-art floorplan generation model. You will join a small team of engineers and architects, running falsifiable ablations on a discrete diffusion model, and improving training, conditioning, and sampling at multi-GPU scale.

You will work alongside architecture experts to turn foundational research into deployable design tools, building a vision pipeline that converts raw plans into training data.

Qualifications

• Currently in a top MSc/PhD (or equivalent) in ML, CS, applied maths, or a closely related field.

Responsibilities

• Spearhead model architecture exploration and ablation to falsify hypotheses; read literature and design rigorous experiments.
