Job summary

Professional Counseling Center (PCC) is seeking a part-time Human Services Professional to provide parenting time visitation services in Huron, Lapeer, and Tuscola Counties. The role offers afternoons and evenings with 15–30 hours per week and opportunities for advancement.

You will balance in-person visits with clerical tasks from flexible locations, logging a minimum of one face-to-face hour per week with families, and completing case notes under supervision.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license and vehicle required.
• Must pass criminal history background review.
• Evenings and occasional weekend hours may be required.

We are seeking a part-time Human Services Professional to provide parenting time visitation services in Huron, Lapeer, and Tuscola Counties to families currently struggling with various challenges. Professional Counseling Center (PCC) is offering this exciting entry level position to motivated individuals who are invested in empowering families to be strong, loving, and independent. PCC is seeking 15-30 hours per week in this role, afternoons and evenings required. The Parenting Time Visitation Support Services Program provides supervised parenting time for parents and children. In this program you will provide guidance for parents to increase their confidence and competence in their parenting abilities to successfully nurture their children and provide them with a healthy and safe environment. This position is ideal if you are interested in a future in social work, crisis intervention, or family education. PCC offers great opportunities for networking, education, and training.

You will set most of your own schedule, combining in-person interactions and clerical tasks from flexible locations. You will work with assigned families for a minimum of one face-to-face hour each week. You will be required to complete case documentation and supervision with the program supervisor.
