Job summary

Evolving Solution Services in Hartford, CT is seeking a Parent Educator to work with families under the Parents as Teachers curriculum, conducting home visits and connecting caregivers to community resources. This role involves frequent travel to site locations and communication with a supervising team to review data and assessments.

Qualifications include an associate’s degree or two years of relevant experience and a valid driver’s license. A bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Early Childhood, Child Development, Social Services, Human Service or related field, or two years of relevant experience.
• Must have and maintain a valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Plans and implements home visits using the Parents as Teachers Curriculum.
• Lead families in developing a resource network, linking them to community resources.
• Recruiting and retaining new participants through effective community outreach with school administration.
• Develop and lead monthly program activities and events.
• Attend required team, agency, and interdisciplinary meetings.
• Ensure timely completion of data entry and adhere to confidentiality policies.
• Assist in the facilitation of after-school program implementation.
• Perform additional duties as required.
