Do you believe parents want the best for their child, but don’t always know how to provide it? Are you interested in helping families obtain the knowledge and resources to help their child succeed in school? Do you enjoy getting to know others and sharing your story?

We’re looking for dedicated and passionate individuals to facilitate our YOU Program Parent Workshops.

YOU, Your Child's First Teacher is a bilingual parent engagement program designed to give parents practical steps to help their child succeed in school and life. Our approach connects parents to one another and to schools, builds their confidence with actionable knowledge, and empowers them to lead proactively. The program spans from a child’s birth through college and career readiness, supporting holistic development every step of the way.

Responsibilities

• Understand and embody the philosophy, curriculum, and spirit of the YOU Program
• Join pre-workshop calls with YOU Program Experts to review client specific goals, customized curriculum, and learning activities
• Arrive punctually to workshop sites, perform setup and registration duties as needed
• Facilitate workshops in an engaging and supportive way, fostering trust and connection
• Guide parents through curriculum-aligned content and discussions
• Collect and submit participant evaluations; participate in team debrief sessions
• Attend a half day orientation and complete onboarding prior to facilitating independently

Qualifications

• Experience in education, counseling, administration, or community outreach
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred)
• Strong facilitation and time management skills
• Organized, resourceful, and relationship-driven
• Reliable transportation to reach workshop locations
• Ability to build trust and connect authentically with parents
