Job summary

Stars Behavioral Health Group in California is seeking a Parent Partner Specialist to support families within the Wraparound program in an in-person, full-time role. Based at San Jose North San Jose Center, the position runs Monday–Friday 9:00 AM–5:30 PM with a starting hourly compensation.

You will apply your lived experience to mentor parents, help families navigate systems, participate in team meetings, and champion family voices across all Wraparound phases.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Personal experience as a consumer in child welfare, probation, or mental health system.
• Peer Support Specialist Certification and a valid California driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as mentor to parents and caregivers with empathy and hope.
• Build peer-to-peer relationships and navigate Wraparound meetings.
• Ensure parent voice is elevated across all four Wraparound phases.
