The Parent Educator will facilitate curriculum-based parenting and family education groups in community setting. This positon will conduct presentations and participate in community events and outreach activities to promote program services and recruit participants in accordance with grant requirements. The Parent Educator will also conduct intake and assessments, develop individualized treatment or services plans, and provide supportive case management to group participants. As program needs require, the Parent Educator may facilitate additional approved curriculum-based groups.This position will work collaboratively with families, community partners, and services providers to provide advocacy, referral and connections to appropriately community resources.
