Home of the Innocents in Louisville, KY is seeking a Parent Education Facilitator to support families through evidence-based education and a trauma-informed approach. The role involves delivering parenting classes, preparing lesson plans, and engaging with parents in the evenings on a PRN basis.

A Bachelor’s degree in a health/education-related field and at least one year of direct service experience are required.

  • Proficiency with current Microsoft Office Suite and related software.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

We are seeking a compassionate and engaging Parent Education Facilitator to support and encourage families through evidence-based education and a trauma-informed approach.

Parent Education Facilitator

Pay: $20 / hour

Hours: PRN / Variable - Evening availability required

A Day in the Life

As a Parent Education Facilitator, you will play a crucial part in administering evidence-based parent education curriculums, fostering positive relationships with parents and children, and facilitating engaging and informative classes. You will prepare lesson plans and teach 1 or 2, 2 hour classes over an 9 week period.
