Location: Arlington, VA (Hybrid/Remote Options Available)
Position Type: Full-time/Part-time
Salary: Competitive, based on experience

Overview:
NAV Software Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Parent Coach to join our team. This position will provide trauma-informed and culturally responsive coaching services to caregivers of children with behavioral, developmental, and emotional challenges in Arlington County, VA. The ideal candidate will be passionate about empowering families and creating positive, sustainable change in children’s lives. Fluency in both English and Spanish is required.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one coaching to caregivers of children with ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, learning disabilities, and other developmental or behavioral challenges.
Use evidence-based interventions to address behavioral concerns and promote positive parenting strategies.
Educate parents and caregivers on child development, behavior management, and fostering emotional attachment.
Develop individualized action plans for each family, based on their specific needs and challenges.
Ensure all coaching practices are trauma-informed and culturally responsive, with a strong understanding of the diverse needs of the families.
Provide monthly progress reports on each family’s treatment progress and goals using the Exhibit B: Monthly Summary of Treatment Progress.
Collect and report outcome data including disaggregated data (race, ethnicity, age, gender identity, etc.) as required by Arlington County.
Ensure that all documentation complies with HIPAA standards and other legal and safety requirements.
Required Qualifications:

Certified Life Coach and/or Certified Health Coach with at least 3 years of experience in coaching or counseling, preferably with a focus on child behavioral health and parenting support.
Qualified Mental Health Professional-Child (QMHP-C) certification or clinical licensure based on the Virginia Board of Health Professions.
Fluency in both English and Spanish; ability to provide services in both languages is required.
Strong knowledge of behavioral health conditions such as ADHD, Autism, and learning disabilities.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage families in a positive and supportive manner.
Experience working in diverse, low-income communities and a strong understanding of cultural responsiveness.
Ability to work independently, manage a caseload, and maintain confidentiality at all times.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in family therapy or social work, particularly in working with children facing mental health or developmental challenges.
Experience using HIPAA-compliant digital platforms for virtual sessions and documentation.
