Job summary

Parcelforce Worldwide is seeking a Collection & Delivery Driver in Carlisle to join our team. You'll sort parcels, plan routes, perform vehicle safety checks, and deliver to homes and businesses, providing dependable customer service.

The role offers a 38-hour week with overtime and a starting salary of £25,201, rising after six months. There is potential to earn up to £30,000 with overtime and benefits including pension, holiday, and more.

Why this role pays off:

• Starting salary: £25,201 per year £12.71 per hour


• After 6 months: £27,561 per year £13.94 per hour


• Opportunity to earn up to £30,000 per year, (based on a 38 hour week & overtime)

Additional Allowances:-o Monthly Non Pensionable Addition to Pay (£903.84 per year)o Weekly Driving Allowance (£26.73 weekly)

What you’ll be doing

• Sorting parcels and planning efficient delivery routes

• Providing a friendly, dependable service — whether it’s a birthday gift or important business mail

What we’re looking for

• A full manual UK driving licence (Cat B up to 3.5t) registered to your current address, with no more than 6 points


• Ability to lift and carry parcels up to 30kg


• Someone who’s friendly, dependable, and customer focused


• Comfortable working independently but also a great team player


• Looking for a stable, long-term role in a growing organisation
