Job summary

Beacon Mobility seeks a Paratransit Driver to transport clients safely to appointments, schools, and community activities in Chicago. You will arrive on schedule, maintain vehicle readiness, and document mileage and repairs as required.

As part of a team serving mobility‑challenged riders across 25 states, you’ll use navigation apps to choose efficient routes and interact professionally with passengers. One year driving experience and a valid license are required.

Qualifications

• One (1) year of driving experience.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Transport clients to and from destinations.
• Arrive at destinations on schedule.
• Fulfill administrative needs, like office pickups.
• Research and plan for traffic, construction, and weather delays.
• Use navigation applications to determine the best route.
• Always interact with clients professionally.
• Ensure that the vehicle is always fueled and ready for use.
• Arrange for vehicle repairs as needed.
• Keep mileage records and repair records up to date.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
