Job summary

ReliaRide is seeking a Paratransit Driver to safely transport patients to medical facilities and ensure comfort and safety during trips. You will maintain accurate records of pick-up/drop-off times, odometer readings, and signatures, supporting timely care delivery.

The role requires a valid license, 18+ years old with 2 years of driving experience, and success in pre-employment checks including TB, alcohol/drug tests, and FBI/BCI background checks. Strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• At least 18 years old with 2 years of driving experience.
• Pass pre-hire physical, TB test, and pre-hire alcohol and drug tests.
• Pass FBI/BCI background check.
• Clean driving record with no more than 4 points.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to assist (NOT LIFT) patients as needed providing door-to-door service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients to and from medical appointments in a safe and timely manner.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during transportation.
• Maintain accurate records of pick-up/drop-off times and odometer readings.
• Communicate effectively with clients, dispatch and management team.
• Perform pre/post trip inspections.
• Transport all patients without discrimination.
• Follow scheduled times and routes from system.
• Report incidents and accidents to dispatch and supervisor.
• Execute wheelchair tie-downs and seat belt securement.
• Move clients in wheelchairs to and from vehicle.
