Qualifications

• Two years of prior driving experience in a related field.
• Valid Florida driver's license and insurable by the company.
• Ability to pass bi-annual DOT physical and medical certification.

Responsibilities

• Drives/operates van/bus for pick-up and delivery of clients/riders.
• Maintains safety checks and cleanliness of the vehicle.
• Collects rider fares and maintains driver logs as directed.
• Provides customer service with courtesy and sensitivity.

Skills

Knowledge of geographic area and roads/highways in Hernando County

Knowledge of federal, state and local traffic/highway laws and regulations

Customer service skills

Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing

Education

High School graduate or equivalent preferred

Tools

Vehicle with specialized equipment (wheelchair lift, bike rack)
