Job summary

Easton Coach Company in Philadelphia is hiring non-CDL Paratransit Drivers to provide safe, reliable SEPTA paratransit transportation to the Philadelphia community. You’ll start with paid training at $18.00/hour, rising to $20.00/hour after training.

Day shifts run between 5:00 AM and 9:00 AM with typical shifts of 8–10 hours; overtime after 40 hours. This role requires no CDL or prior professional driving experience, and benefits include PTO, 401(k) with a 100% match, health, dental and vision

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license in good standing for at least 2 consecutive years.
• Must meet company MVR requirements.
• Must successfully complete a DOT physical.
• Must successfully complete a drug screening (drug screening includes marijuana).
• Must successfully complete applicable background and employment screening requirements.
• Must be able to meet the scheduling requirements of the position.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport passengers as part of SEPTA paratransit service.
• Follow an assigned driver manifest with scheduled passenger pick-up and drop-off locations and times.
• Provide safe, courteous, and dependable transportation.
• Assist passengers as needed while entering and exiting the vehicle.
• Follow company, DOT, and passenger transportation safety procedures.
• Maintain professional communication with passengers, dispatch, and operations staff.
• Help provide passengers with safe, reliable transportation throughout the Philadelphia area.
