Paraprofessional with Student Transportation

As a Paraprofessional providing Student Transportation with The Menta Group, you will work with classroom instructors and staff to support students academically and behaviorally, as well as provide transportation to and from school using school vehicles (van or bus).

Responsibilities

• Manage classroom behaviors
• Provide regular, before & after school transportation and as-needed during school hours
• Report behavioral concerns to staff
• Implement behavioral policies and maintain data
• Ensure classroom safety and order
• Assist in incident prevention and management
• Monitor for safety issues and respond to emergencies
• Provide behavioral interventions to students
• Think quickly, independently, and tactfully

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License with Passenger Endorsement or ability to obtain one
• Preferred but not required CDL-B
• Must be 23 or older
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Paraprofessional Certification preferred but not required
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Experience in transportation and stable employment history
• Patience and willingness to support students with behavioral and emotional needs
• Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
• Pass drug and background screening
