Assignment Location: Village Ranch Alternative Program, Cokato
Hours per Day: 7
Anticipated Start Date: August 11, 2025
Salary: Placement per the MSEA contract for Paras ($21.75 - $28.24/hour), based on applicable experience

The Special Education Paraprofessional works with students assigned to the special education program or service, under the direction of the licensed staff, performing duties to support the program. Responsibilities include providing data-driven instructional support, personal care, and behavioral assistance to students with special needs. Duties may involve assisting students with daily living skills, implementing behavior plans, and monitoring/enforcing skills in accordance with instructional plans and IEPs.
Located in Cokato, MN, VRAP is an educational facility on the grounds of the Village Ranch, Inc. group home. It offers a flexible, safe environment for students aged 12-18 with disabilities such as EBD or SLD, aiming to help them transition into mainstream education or work.
MAWSECO is a cooperative of seven school districts providing special education services in the area, based in Howard Lake, MN.
