Qualifications

• Must pass Oklahoma Criminal Background Check and apply for OSDE credential.
• A $10 processing fee for the credential may apply if hired.
• Evaluation is annual by Supervising Teacher and Site Principal.

Responsibilities

• Monitors students on district transportation and assists with boarding and disembarking.
• Accompanies students during meals and assists with eating and cleanup.
• Assists students with classwork, therapy services, and routine routines.
• Supports students with motor, balance, social, and life skills.
• Possibly assists with personal care per individual needs; maintains confidentiality.
• Attends IEP and other meetings and training; reports concerns to the teacher.
• Maintains a clean, organized work area and assists with instructional materials.
• Scores tests and maintains records; supports classroom scheduling and equipment use.
• Provides one-on-one tutoring when scheduled and reinforces learning in small groups.
• Supervises students in hallway, lunchroom, and playground.
