Position Overview

LADSE is seeking paraprofessionals to work with students with disabilities in various settings. Positions are available for students on the Autism Spectrum, with Significant Multiple Disabilities, Early Childhood Education, and Behavioral/Emotional needs. Fluent American Sign Language (ASL) is required for this position in our Emotional Disabilities program.

Compensation and Hours

The pay rate is $17.00 per hour, with benefits. Full-time positions are available. Typical hours are 8:15 am - 3:15 pm.

Locations

Positions are available in LaGrange, Darien, Westchester, Willow Springs, North Riverside, Western Springs, Hodgkins, and other areas as needs arise. Openings vary.

Qualifications
  • We can assist you in obtaining your paraprofessional license if you do not already hold an Illinois Substitute Teaching License or an Illinois Educator License endorsed for paraprofessionals.
  • Experience is not required; training will be provided.
