Job summary

Ampersand Therapy is seeking a Special Education Float Paraprofessional to support students in the Anoka, MN area. The role includes SPED support, behavior and toileting assistance, and covering district-wide call-outs across Champlin, Coon Rapids, Blaine, Anoka, and Andover.

Requires either 60 college credits or a ParaPro credential, plus a background check and drug screening. This is a W-2 position with benefits and ongoing professional mentorship.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or equivalent, or 2 years post secondary and at least 60 completed credits OR
• Paraprofessional Credential through Minnesota Department of Education (such as passing score on ParaPro or ParaEducator Assessments or credentialed on the PELSB rubric)
• Background check and drug screening required
• Previous experience working in the school setting preferred

• Working in SPED classrooms, working with students with behavior needs, toileting support, etc.
