Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist with self-sufficiency training and maintenance of skills for children with physical disabilities.
• Assume duties of a personal care nature to help children participate in activities.
• Encourage, support, and educate students in activities of daily living.
• Assist students in managing their environment to meet needs.
• Monitor health problems and psycho-social adjustment.
• Arrange classroom environment to meet students' needs; assist teacher or students.
• Attend trainings, in-services, workshops, and meetings as requested.
• Demonstrate cooperation and flexibility in duties as assigned by school administration and ESS.
• Adhere to ESS and school district policies and procedures.
