Montgomery ISD is seeking a paraprofessional to support students with disabilities in a self-contained classroom. The role involves assisting with execution of classroom programs, including self-help, behavior management, and instructional activities under supervision.

The position requires at least a high school diploma or GED; an associate degree or two years of college and a valid Texas educational aide certificate are preferred. 187-day schedule and pay grade 3.

Qualifications

Education/Certification:

• Applicant must be at least 18 years of age


• High school diploma or hold a General Educational Development (GED) certificate


• Have met formal academic assessment, associate's degree, or two years of study at an institution of higher learning*


• Valid Texas educational aide certificate

• Ability to work with children with disabilities
