Job summary

Fairfield ISD is seeking a Special Education / Life Skills Paraprofessional for the Junior High Campus (grades 6-8). The role involves collaborating with the special education teacher and general classroom teachers to support instructional, psychological, and physical needs of students in inclusion and pull-out settings.

Special Education / Life Skills Paraprofessional

Junior High Campus

This position involves working collaboratively with the special education teacher and classroom teachers in providing for the instructional, psychological support and physical needs of students with and without disabilities in an inclusion and pull-out setting.

Position will provide personal care as identified in the applicable student's IEP. Will perform other SHARS duties as assigned. Students assigned to this program arein need of additional behavioral, physical and/or academic support. Assistant needs to be proficient with basic core content academia as well as basic computer skills including word processing and data entry.
